Duties

- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to ensure comfort and safety
- Support patients with medication administration following prescribed schedules and protocols
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance mental well-being and reduce feelings of loneliness
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a tidy living environment
- Help with mobility and transfer techniques, including heavy lifting when required, to prevent falls or injuries




- Document care provided accurately in client records and communicate any changes in health or behavior to supervisors or healthcare professionals

Qualifications

- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, hospice care, or home care environments is highly preferred
- Demonstrated experience working with individuals with disabilities or dementia is advantageous
- Strong understanding of patient care principles and caregiving best practices
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively when assisting clients with mobility needs
- Excellent communication skills to interact empathetically with clients and team members
- Basic knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols
- Flexibility to work various shifts including days, evenings, weekends, or overnight as needed
