Role Description The QA/QC role at STC Project Management Ltd. is a full-time, on-site position based in Kamloops, BC. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing and monitoring quality assurance and quality control procedures to ensure projects meet applicable standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements. The role involves conducting inspections, reviewing documentation, identifying non-conformities, and coordinating corrective and preventive actions with project teams.

The QA/QC professional will maintain quality records, support internal and external audits, and collaborate with management and site personnel to continuously improve quality processes.



This position requires solid attention to detail, clear communication, and a proactive approach to maintaining high-quality outcomes across projects.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Quality Assurance and Quality Control skills, including experience with developing and implementing QA/QC procedures.

Candidates should possess skills in Quality Management, including setting quality objectives, monitoring performance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Candidates should possess knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) or relevant industry standards and regulations applicable to project environments.

Candidates should possess Quality Auditing skills, including planning and conducting audits, documenting findings, and following up on corrective actions.

Relevant experience in construction, engineering, manufacturing, or project management environments is beneficial.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.

Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear reports and interact with clients and stakeholders.

Post-secondary education in engineering, quality management, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
