Responsibilities

- Identify and attract qualified candidates for various FOH roles such as servers, bartenders, hosts, and cashiers, as well as BOH positions including cooks, dishwashers, and food prep staff
- Conduct thorough interviews to assess candidates’ experience with POS systems like Micros or similar platforms, food safety protocols, and food handling procedures
- Manage the entire recruitment process from posting job openings to screening resumes, coordinating interviews, and extending offers
- Collaborate with management to understand staffing needs and develop targeted recruiting strategies
- Ensure candidates meet essential requirements such as food industry experience, hospitality skills, time management abilities, and customer service excellence
- Maintain accurate records of applicant tracking, interview feedback,



and onboarding documentation
- Promote a positive candidate experience by providing clear communication and timely updates throughout the hiring process

Requirements

- Proven experience in restaurant or food service recruitment or related hospitality hiring roles
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros or similar platforms used in restaurant operations
- Strong understanding of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and cashiering processes including cash handling and basic math skills
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple openings efficiently
- Exceptional customer service skills to engage with candidates professionally and positively
- Knowledge of the food industry’s operational requirements including serving techniques and food industry best practices
- Ability to assess candidates’ skills in areas like math proficiency, food safety compliance, and hospitality service delivery
- Prior experience with food service positions or restaurant environments is highly preferred
