Role Description:

This full-time, on-site Registered Massage Therapist role is based at Mindful Maelstrom’s Toronto, ON location. The therapist will provide therapeutic and relaxation massage treatments tailored to individual client needs, including techniques such as body massage and Shiatsu where appropriate. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting client assessments, developing treatment plans, maintaining accurate records, and offering guidance on stress management and self-care.

The role also involves ensuring a clean and safe treatment environment, collaborating with other wellness professionals, and delivering attentive, professional customer service to every client.





Qualifications:

- Demonstrated proficiency in Therapeutic Massage and Body Massage techniques.
- Ability to safely and effectively apply Shiatsu and related modalities as part of treatment plans.
- Skills in Stress Management, including educating clients on strategies that support ongoing wellness.
- Strong Customer Service capabilities, with a focus on empathy, professionalism, and clear communication.
- Current registration and good standing with the appropriate massage therapy regulatory body in Ontario.
- Knowledge of client assessment, treatment planning, and record-keeping best practices.
- Capacity to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment and maintain professional boundaries.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical and privacy standards.
