Duties
- Perform personalized massage therapy sessions tailored to each client’s needs, utilizing various techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or therapeutic massage.
- Assess clients’ physical conditions and discuss their health concerns to develop effective treatment plans.
- Maintain detailed records of client treatments, progress, and any relevant medical information using professional terminology.
- Educate clients on self-care practices and post-treatment recommendations to enhance ongoing wellness.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment by adhering to sanitation standards and safety protocols.
- Communicate clearly with clients about treatment procedures, benefits,
and any potential contraindications or precautions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to support comprehensive client care.
Qualifications
- Valid registration or licensure as a Massage Therapist with the appropriate regulatory body.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to anatomy, physiology, and massage therapy techniques.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Proven customer service skills with the ability to create a positive experience for diverse clientele.
