Job Summary

We are seeking two dedicated and compassionate Registered Social Workers and/or Psychotherapists to join our growing clinical team at Talk Therapy Services.

We are looking for

Therapist #1 – Individuals & Couples A therapist who primarily works with individuals and couples, with experience supporting adults and/or adolescents. The ideal candidate will have formal training in evidence-based therapeutic approaches relevant to the populations they serve, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), trauma-informed therapy, Emotion-Focused CouplesTherapy (EFT), Gottman Method, or other recognized therapeutic modalities.

Therapist #2 – Children, Teens & Adults A therapist who is experienced in working with children ages 5+, adolescents, and adults. Experience working with children and youth with a variety of emotional, behavioural, developmental, or mental health needs is an asset. The ideal candidate will have formal training in approaches appropriate for children and adolescents, such as play therapy, CBT, DBT, trauma-informed therapy, attachment-based approaches, or other relevant therapeutic modalities.

Duties

- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on client needs and goals.
- Provide evidence-based psychotherapy and therapeutic interventions appropriate to the client's age, presenting concerns, and treatment goals.
- Build robust therapeutic relationships with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and/or families, depending on the position.
- Utilize therapeutic approaches and interventions supported by your formal education and clinical training.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including treatment notes, assessments, and ongoing treatment plans.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment approaches as clinically appropriate.




- Collaborate with other clinicians and professionals when appropriate to support coordinated client care.
- Provide psychoeducation, therapeutic strategies, and recommendations to clients and families when appropriate.
- Maintain professional boundaries, confidentiality, and ethical standards in accordance with regulatory and professional requirements.
- Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development.
- Maintain current knowledge and skills through continuing education and relevant clinical training.

Qualifications
- Valid registration as a Registered Social Worker (RSW) and/or Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with the appropriate professional regulatory college.
- Clinical experience working with the population relevant to the position.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and clinical skills.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong understanding of professional ethics, confidentiality, and clinical documentation requirements.
- Experience with evidence-based therapeutic approaches relevant to the population served.

Formal Clinical Training Applicants must have formal training in therapeutic modalities relevant to the population they will be working with.

Include the name of the training/program and, where applicable, the organization or institution through which you completed the training. We are particularly interested in applicants who have pursued additional specialized training beyond their foundational professional education.





Population Experience In your cover letter, please provide some detail about your experience working with different populations. Please identify the ages, presenting concerns, diagnoses, developmental needs, and/or other populations you have experience supporting.

For the Individuals & Couples position, please highlight your experience working with individuals and couples and the types of concerns you have supported.

For the Children, Teens & Adults position, please highlight your experience working with children ages 5+, adolescents, and adults, including any experience supporting developmental, behavioural, emotional, or mental health needs.
