SignalChem Biotech Inc. is seeking a well-qualified and experienced scientist with strong expertise in yeast expression, fermentation, and protein purification, as well as the potential to lead CRO/R&D; projects.

Key Responsibilities

● Responsible for CRO/R&D; projects related to recombinant protein services, including evaluating, designing, planning, and executing experiments, either independently or in collaboration with teammates.

● Analyze experimental data and properly document experiments, and prepare experimental reports.





● Innovative experimental research aiming to advance the development of current and new product manufacturing.

● Troubleshoot experiments and identify abnormal or unexpected trends in data.

● Other related duties as needed or assigned.

Required Qualifications

● At least 3 years of experience in recombinant protein production (PhD is strongly preferred).

● Extensive experience in yeast expression, fermentation, and purification is required.

● Experience with bacterial gene editing is an asset.

● Experience in E.Coli/insect/mammalian cells is an asset.

● Knowledge of protein activity test.

● Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively communicate with cross-

functional teams.

● Self-motivated with strong organizational, written, and verbal communication, and problemsolving skills.

● Track record demonstrating meticulous and detail-oriented.

● Quick learner with the ability to rapidly apply current concepts and techniques.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
