Position Overview:

We are hiring for a Restoration Technician / Abatement Technician. These roles involve working in various conditions, from flood extractions to the demolition of affected materials, as well as mold and asbestos abatements. The ideal candidate will have experience in restoration, abatements, and demolition, along with certifications in those fields. We’re looking for individuals who are customer-service-oriented, physically fit, and capable of working in a fast-paced safe environment.

Restoration Technician Responsibilities:

- Perform water extraction from flood-affected areas.
- Set up and operate drying equipment such as dehumidifiers and air movers.
- Complete demolition of damaged materials when necessary (drywall, flooring, etc.).
- Complete low, moderate and high risk mold, lead and asbestos abetments to WBC standards.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure safe and effective restoration services.
- Maintain communication with customers, providing updates on job progress.
- Document job details and ensure proper reporting of work completed.
- Work as part of a team to complete restoration projects on time.

Qualifications:

- Experience in water damage, smoke and abatement restoration work.
- Preferred certifications in restoration, such as IICRC (Institute of Inspection,



Cleaning, and Restoration Certification).
- WCB asbestos L2 or higher.
- Ability to handle physical work, including lifting and carrying heavy equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Customer service experience with a focus on positive interactions.
- Must be comfortable working in fast-paced and variable conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Proof of criminal record check.
- Work efficiently while adhering to safety standards and company procedures.

Qualifications:

- Prior experience in restoration and abatement work
- Preferred certifications WCB and IICRC certified.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Physically fit and able to carry and use heavy equipment.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

What We Offer:

- Hourly Pay: $20 - $30 per hour based on experience and certifications.
- Overtime: Available and paid at a higher rate.
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday with the opportunity for overtime.
