We are seeking a responsible candidate to fill the position of Retail Coordinator in our Saskatoon office. Light travel to lottery retailers in a specified territory may be required.
Job Purpose To assist beneficiary organizations in meeting their financial needs by operating a fundraising program utilizing Western Canada Lottery Corporation products and programs.
The Retail Coordinator will be responsible for retail mail accounts and provincial mystery shop program, as well as provide primary relief duties for lottery accounts, reception, prize payout and network administration.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Mail Account Coordination
- Distribute and manage lottery supplies and inventory to all mail accounts
- Ensure prompt communication and follow up for buybacks, chargebacks and promotions
- Provide retailers with training and knowledge on best practices and products
- Provide reports based on needs including commissions and sales
Mystery Shop Program
- Oversee provincial Mystery Shop programming including annual shop list, results notification, coordination of follow up training and participation in WCLC-wide meetings
- Create annual incentive for retailers that pass first shop
- Track and evaluate quarterly and yearly results
Team and Office Support
- Provide relief for north Lottery Account Representatives, depot employees, reception and prize payout office during busy periods, vacations or other needs
- Assistance with retailer master file and network data entry
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Demonstrated skills in the following areas:
- Explicit communication ‐ verbal and written
- Sound administration and time management with attention to detail
- Computer programs and databases – Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe
- Demonstrated abilities in the following areas:
- Developing customer/client relationships
- Sales analysis and successful promotion creation with customer accounts
- Self motivated and enthusiastic
- Work collaboratively with individuals and in team settings
- Develop and maintain positive relationships internally and externally
Qualifications and Experience
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Marketing or a strong combination of relevant training and experience
- Applicant must be bondable
Working Conditions
- Part time (30 hours/week).
- Travel is required.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable personal vehicle.
- Able to lift 25-30 lb cartons
- Salary and benefits commensurate with experience.

Pay: $28.27-$37.70 per hour
