Responsibilities for Retail Security Guard Patrol critical areas to identify and deter suspicious activity Verify identification and control access to secure areas Respond promptly to incidents or potential threats and document all actions taken Monitor and ensure the proper functioning of alarms and surveillance systems Respond to alarms and conduct on-site investigations as required Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents Qualifications for Retail Security Guard Be authorized to work in Canada
Hold a valid BC security license
First aid certification - an asset
Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift
Alert, detail-oriented, with strong situational awareness
Demonstrated ability to act decisively in high-pressure situations
Solid report writing skills
