Job SummaryRegional Support Manager – Retirement Homes (Ontario)

The Regional Support Manager provides operational, sales, and leadership support across a designated group of retirement homes in Ontario. This role ensures continuity of leadership by acting as temporary General Manager for homes undergoing transitions, including periods where a site is recruiting a new GM.

Key Responsibilities

· Provide regional oversight, coaching, and operational support to multiple retirement homes, ensuring compliance with provincial regulations and company standards.

· Serve as interim General Manager when required, assuming full responsibility for site operations, staff leadership, resident satisfaction, financial performance, and sales targets.

· Support and drive occupancy growth through strong industry knowledge, relationship-building, and sales acumen.

· Stabilize operations during leadership vacancies, implementing consistent processes, documentation, and performance expectations.

· Collaborate with corporate leadership on recruitment, onboarding, and transition planning for current General Managers.

· Travel and temporarily relocate to individual homes as needed to maintain operational continuity and support local teams.

Qualifications





- Proven experience in retirement home environments with a strong understanding of senior care principles.
- Demonstrated supervising experience with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
- Knowledge of Retirement Home and related regulations.
- Experience in sales and marketing of senior living facilities.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive team culture.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with community managers, staff, residents, and families.
