Salary: $20.50to$29.00hourly (To be negotiated)

Hours of work: 30 to 40 hours per week / Shift

Terms of employment: Permanent employment / Full time

Languages

Education

- College/CEGEP degree in;
- Food service, waiter/waitress and dining room management/manager,
- Hotel, motel, and restaurant management,
- Restaurant/food services management
- Food preparation/professional cooking/kitchen assistant
- Foods, nutrition and related services,
- Culinary arts and related services, or




- Any other food and beverage service related discipline;
- OR equivalent experience and high school degree

- Experience an asset

Work setting

Tasks

1. Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
- Address customers’ complaints or concerns
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
- Prepare food order summaries for chef
- Must have knowledge of the establishment’s culinary genres
- Establish work schedules
