Role Description The Roof and Exterior Cleaning Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Vancouver, BC, responsible for performing exterior cleaning and maintenance services on residential, commercial, and strata properties. Day-to-day tasks include roof and gutter cleaning, soft washing of delicate surfaces, pressure washing driveways, walkways, and building exteriors, and assisting with window cleaning as needed. The technician will safely operate ladders, pressure washers, and other equipment, follow company safety protocols, and ensure all work areas are left clean and secure.

The role also involves basic inspection of roofs and gutters for visible issues,



communicating professionally with clients on-site, and reporting job status, materials used, and any safety concerns to the supervisor. Seasonal duties may include snow removal, salting walkways, and installing or removing holiday lighting, while maintaining a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and customer service.

Qualifications

Experience or strong interest in exterior property maintenance, including roof, gutter, and pressure washing tasks.

Ability to work safely at heights, use ladders and fall-protection equipment, and follow established safety procedures.

Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort operating equipment such as pressure washers, soft-wash systems, and hand tools.

Positive physical stamina with the ability to lift, carry, and move equipment, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering clean, well-finished work on every job site.

Clear, professional communication skills for interacting with clients, team members, and supervisors.

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a small team.

Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are preferred for traveling between job sites.

Previous experience in exterior cleaning, roofing, landscaping, or a related field is an asset but not required; training can be provided.

Willingness to work occasional weekends or evenings during peak seasons
