Our client, a leading global investment bank, is seeking a Senior Credit Analyst (Vice President) to join its Real Assets & Infrastructure (RAI) team within Credit Portfolio Management.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded Project Finance platform, providing credit oversight across a diverse portfolio of Energy, Infrastructure, and Metals & Mining transactions throughout the Americas. The role offers exposure to large-scale, complex financings and close collaboration with front office, risk, and legal teams within an international banking environment.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Credit Analyst, you will take ownership of the ongoing management of a portfolio of Project Finance transactions, supporting the full post-closing lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include

- Manage the ongoing credit risk of Project Finance transactions across Energy (Power, Renewables, Battery Storage, Midstream & Downstream Oil & Gas, Energy Transition) and Metals & Mining.
- Perform continuous monitoring of counterparties and underlying projects, including construction progress, operating performance, financial results, and covenant compliance.
- Identify emerging credit issues and contribute to Watch List assessments, provisioning recommendations, and management of stressed credits where required.
- Prepare comprehensive annual credit reviews, including financial analysis, cash flow model assessments, internal ratings, and forward-looking credit opinions.
- Review debt service coverage, liquidity, structural protections, and overall transaction performance.
- Assess and process amendments, waivers, consents, restructurings, and documentation changes while evaluating their credit impact.
- Manage project finance term conversions,



including post-conversion credit assessments and ongoing monitoring requirements.
- Prepare internal credit memoranda and coordinate approvals with Risk Management and Origination teams.
- Produce quarterly portfolio reviews, portfolio reporting, Watch List commentary, and exposure analysis.
- Support regulatory reporting, internal and external audits, and Shared National Credit examinations.
- Assist with portfolio optimization initiatives, including secondary loan sales and other risk-transfer transactions.
- Build strong relationships with borrowers, agents, Origination, Risk, Legal, Middle Office, and Asset Recovery teams.

What We're Looking For
- ect Finance Credit Risk, Credit Portfolio Management, or Project Finance underwriting.
- Experience covering Energy, Infrastructure, Renewables, Power, Oil & Gas, or Metals & Mining transactions.
- Robust financial statement analysis and cash flow modelling skills.
- Experience preparing credit papers and presenting recommendations for approval.
- Knowledge of covenant analysis, amendments, waivers, restructurings, and ongoing portfolio monitoring.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across front office and control functions.
- Strong analytical thinking and sound credit judgment.
