About Our Client

Our client is a leading global financial institution undertaking a major enterprise-wide Finance transformation initiative. As part of a multi-year modernization strategy, the organization is implementing a next-generation cloud-based Finance platform that will transform financial accounting, reporting, and ledger capabilities across multiple business lines and geographies.

This highly visible program will establish a modern Product Subledger, Non-Product Subledger, and Enterprise General Ledger platform, enabling greater scalability, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and financial transparency across the enterprise.

Technology, Finance, Operations, Risk, and Architecture teams are partnering closely to deliver one of the most significant Finance transformation programs within the organization.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a

Senior Director, Global Finance SAP Lead to lead the end-to-end execution of a large-scale greenfield SAP Finance transformation program.

This executive leadership role will serve as the primary bridge between technology leadership, Finance stakeholders, architecture teams, and delivery partners, ensuring successful implementation of enterprise-wide Product Subledger, Non-Product Subledger, and General Ledger capabilities.

The successful candidate will bring deep experience leading large-scale SAP Finance programs within a Tier 1 financial institution or a leading consulting organization. This individual will combine executive-level leadership, stakeholder management, and transformation delivery expertise with a strong understanding of SAP Finance, subledger platforms, event-based accounting, and enterprise ledger modernization.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a senior transformation leader who has successfully led complex SAP Finance implementations and can drive delivery across global teams, multiple workstreams, and executive stakeholders.

What You'll Do

Lead the greenfield implementation of SAP-based Product Subledger, Non-Product Subledger, and Enterprise General Ledger capabilities

Drive end-to-end program execution across architecture, design, configuration, integration, testing, deployment, and production readiness workstreams

Establish delivery standards, governance frameworks, KPIs, and program controls to ensure successful outcomes

Partner closely with Finance, Technology, Operations, Risk,



and Architecture leaders to align priorities and strategic objectives

Serve as the primary delivery lead across functional, technical, data, and integration teams

Provide leadership for complex SAP Finance solution design, ensuring alignment with enterprise accounting and reporting requirements

Oversee data migration, integration strategies, and enterprise ledger modernization initiatives

Ensure adherence to SAP governance standards and global template design principles

Drive enterprise-wide stakeholder engagement and executive communications

Lead geographically distributed teams of consultants, architects, developers, analysts, and delivery partners

Manage scope, risks, dependencies, budgets, and competing priorities across multiple workstreams

Resolve complex delivery and technology challenges while maintaining alignment with enterprise architecture standards

Ensure the final platform is scalable, secure, resilient, and capable of supporting future business growth

Provide thought leadership on Finance technology strategy, modernization, and regulatory requirements

Build high-performing teams through coaching, mentorship, succession planning, and leadership development

What You Bring

Must-Have Qualifications

15+ years of SAP implementation and transformation experience

Proven experience leading large-scale SAP Finance transformation programs within global financial institutions or top-tier consulting organizations

Deep expertise in Product Subledger, Financial Products Subledger (FPSL), Enterprise General Ledger, and event-based accounting environments

Experience delivering greenfield SAP Finance implementations from strategy and design through deployment and stabilization

Strong understanding of Finance, accounting, and enterprise ledger processes within banking or financial services environments

Demonstrated success leading multi-workstream programs involving architecture, integration, data migration, reporting, testing, and deployment

Experience establishing governance frameworks and managing global template design across multiple entities or business units

Executive-level stakeholder management experience, including working with senior technology and business leaders





Proven ability to lead globally distributed teams across complex transformation initiatives

Solid knowledge of enterprise architecture principles, SDLC methodologies, Agile delivery, and cloud-based platforms

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

Experience with SAP Financial Products Subledger (FPSL)

Experience implementing SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions

Background within Tier 1 banking, capital markets, wealth management, or global financial services organizations

Previous experience with Deloitte, Accenture, EY, PwC, KPMG, IBM Consulting, or other leading consulting firms

Experience supporting enterprise accounting modernization and regulatory transformation initiatives

Knowledge of enterprise data architecture, cybersecurity, and cloud transformation programs

Advanced degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Technology
