HumanWare is hiring 2 Senior Embedded Software Developers to join its R&D; team. We're seeking experienced engineers who can quickly contribute to the design and development of innovative embedded software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for Linux-based products.
- Develop applications using C/C++ and C# .
- Lead software architecture, design, code reviews, and technical decision-making.
- Debug, optimize, and resolve complex software issues.
- Mentor developers and promote engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of software development experience (strong candidates with slightly less experience may be considered).
- Solid hands-on experience with Embedded Linux , C/C++ , and C# .
- Experience with software architecture, debugging, performance optimization, and embedded systems.
- RTOS, microcontrollers, automated testing, and cybersecurity knowledge are assets.
- Experience across multiple industries is highly valued.
Nice to Have
- Experience with image processing, video processing, or computer vision .
- Background with leading technology or medical device companies (e.g., Apple, Medtronic, Philips, or similar).
Language Requirement
- French is mandatory (technical interviews will be conducted in French).
- English required for collaboration with global teams.
