We are Systematix and we are currently looking for a Senior Service Now Integration Engineer for our Life Sciences client.

ABOUT THE PROJECT Our client is a global life sciences organization undertaking a large-scale Service Now transformation across multiple regions and operating companies. As part of a global initiative to modernize and standardize IT Service Management (ITSM), the organization is implementing Service Now as its enterprise platform for core ITSM capabilities while expanding its IT Operations Management (ITOM) footprint.

The Senior Service Now Integration Engineer will play a critical role in designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-grade integrations between Service Now and a diverse ecosystem of business applications, cloud platforms, monitoring tools, and infrastructure services.

Working closely with Solution Architects, Platform Engineers, Infrastructure teams, Application Owners, and business stakeholders, you will deliver secure, scalable, and resilient integration solutions that enhance automation, improve operational visibility, and support enterprise service management across the organization.

ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES As the Senior Service Now Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting complex integrations across the Service Now platform while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, governance standards, and ITIL best practices.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust integration solutions supporting both ITSM and ITOM capabilities across a large-scale enterprise environment.

Responsibilities include: Design and implement enterprise integration architectures supporting Service Now ITSM and ITOM solutions

Develop and maintain secure, scalable integrations between Service Now and enterprise applications, cloud platforms, monitoring tools, identity services, ERP systems, collaboration platforms, and Dev Ops toolchains
Build and support integrations utilizing REST APIs, SOAP web services, GraphQL, event-driven architecture, Integration Hub, Flow Designer, MID Servers, and Scripted APIs

Design and implement integrations supporting Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Service Catalog, Knowledge Management, CMDB, Asset Management, Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Operational Intelligence, Cloud Discovery,



and Orchestration

Develop middleware integrations utilizing enterprise integration platforms including Azure Integration Services, Mule Soft, Boomi, Workato, Informatica, Kafka, or equivalent technologies
Design and implement automation workflows that reduce manual effort, improve operational efficiency, and enable event-driven incident response and remediation
Support CMDB integration strategy through configuration item ingestion, reconciliation, data validation, and ongoing data quality initiatives
Collaborate with Enterprise Architects and Platform Teams to establish integration standards, governance, and best practices
Implement CI/CD pipelines, version control processes, release management practices, and Infrastructure as Code principles supporting Service Now integration deployments
Produce high-quality technical documentation including solution designs, architecture diagrams, interface specifications, operational procedures, and support documentation
Troubleshoot complex integration issues spanning multiple enterprise platforms while identifying opportunities to improve performance, resiliency, scalability, and automation
Mentor junior developers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the Service Now integration practice
ABOUT THE QUALIFICATIONS 8+ years of enterprise integration engineering experience supporting complex enterprise environments
5+ years of hands-on experience developing and supporting Service Now platform integrations

Proven experience implementing integrations across Service Now ITSM and ITOM capabilities

Strong experience designing and developing REST APIs, SOAP web services, GraphQL APIs, webhooks, and event-driven integrations

Hands-on experience with Service Now Integration Hub, Flow Designer, MID Servers, Business Rules, Scripted APIs, and scoped applications

Strong knowledge of Service Now ITSM, Discovery, CMDB, Service Mapping, Event Management, and ITOM architecture





Experience integrating Service Now with enterprise monitoring and observability platforms such as Azure Monitor, Dynatrace, Splunk, App Dynamics, Datadog, Solar Winds, or SCOM

Experience with middleware and enterprise integration technologies including Azure Integration Services, Mule Soft, Boomi, Workato, Informatica, Kafka, or similar platforms

Experience supporting Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or hybrid cloud environments

Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines utilizing Git, Azure Dev Ops, Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, or similar Dev Ops platforms
Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, security protocols, authentication technologies, and API governance
Experience working within Agile delivery methodologies and large enterprise transformation programs
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification is preferred
Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist (ITSM and/or Discovery) certification is considered a strong asset
Service Now Certified Technical Architect (CTA) certification is considered an asset
ABOUT THE ROLE Location: Remote (Eastern Time) with flexibility to collaborate across additional time zones as required
Duration: 6-month contract with a high likelihood of extension

Work hours: Full-time, primarily aligned to Eastern Time (ET), with flexibility to support UK/Europe business hours when required
