Become an essential part of FIREFLY in Sioux Lookout as a Child Development Occupational Therapist. Enhance therapeutic practices to support children's physical and emotional growth in a collaborative setting.

This full-time role involves direct interaction with children and families, focusing on assessment and treatment of various developmental challenges. You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team while fostering partnerships with community agencies.

Your role will also include caregiver training to ensure effective implementation of therapy at home and school.

Key Responsibilities:

- Evaluate children's functional and developmental needs
- Develop and revise tailored therapy programs
- Document and comply with organizational policies




- Advocate for client services and necessary equipment
- Act as a resource for other health professionals

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Registration with the College of Occupational Therapy of Ontario
- Pediatric experience is valued
- Understanding of child development
- Computer literacy and record-keeping skills
