About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to play a pivotal role in the strategic and operational leadership of its financial management. The CFO will be responsible for all aspects of financial stewardship, including risk oversight, reporting, compliance, and governance.
This is a key position that demands a CPA-designated leader with a proven track record in financial management, governance, compliance, audit, risk management, and organizational growth. The successful candidate will be tasked with establishing and leading the finance function, developing financial systems and controls, and building the necessary reporting and governance frameworks to support the organization's complex national mandate.
The role requires a hands-on approach to core financial operations,
as well as the ability to provide strategic advice to senior leadership and the Board.
The ideal CFO for the company will have experience in building and leading agile teams, implementing effective financial systems and controls, and supporting decision-making in highly accountable environments. Solid judgment, integrity, collaboration, and a commitment to the mission of the organization, particularly in the area of housing as a critical component of strong and resilient communities, are essential.
The role is remote, and while the company operates in a virtual capacity, some travel may be required. The CFO will be a key member of the executive team, ensuring the responsible stewardship of significant financial resources and supporting the organization's growth, long-term sustainability, and mission delivery.
