Leans Transactional PM and less Governance

We're seeking an experienced SAP PM Team Lead to lead the day-to-day support, enhancement, and continuous improvement of SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) within a complex SAP S/4HANA environment. This is a hands-on functional leadership role responsible for supporting maintenance operations, leading a small team of SAP Functional Analysts, and partnering with business stakeholders to optimize maintenance processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and mentor a team of SAP Functional Analysts supporting SAP PM.
- Support the end-to-end maintenance lifecycle, including maintenance notifications, work orders, preventive maintenance, scheduling, confirmations, and work order completion.
- Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to gather business requirements and deliver practical SAP PM solutions.
- Develop functional specifications and work closely with developers to deliver enhancements and system improvements.
- Coordinate UAT, regression testing, production support, and monthly application releases.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing functional support for business-critical maintenance processes.
- Support SAP PM integration with SAP MM,



including material reservations, inventory, and procurement processes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance reliability, user experience, and operational efficiency.
- Participate in SAP S/4HANA initiatives, with exposure to SAP Fiori and mobile maintenance solutions considered an asset.

Qualifications

- 8+ years of hands-on SAP PM functional experience supporting live production environments.
- Solid understanding of transactional SAP PM processes, including notifications, maintenance work orders, preventive maintenance, scheduling, confirmations, and equipment management.
- Experience writing functional specifications, managing enhancements, and supporting production issues.
- Proven ability to work directly with business users, developers, and cross-functional teams.
- Experience leading or mentoring SAP Functional Analysts or technical teams.
- SAP S/4HANA experience required; SAP MM integration experience preferred.
- Experience within asset-intensive industries such as energy, utilities, mining, manufacturing, or transportation is highly desirable.
