Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a welcoming and professional first impression
- Manage guest seating arrangements efficiently, balancing reservations and walk-ins to minimize wait times
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring special requests are noted and communicated clearly to the kitchen staff
- Serve food and drinks promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Assist guests with menu selections, offering recommendations and answering questions about ingredients or specials
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including table setups and side stations




- Handle guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism, demonstrating excellent communication skills and phone etiquette when needed

Requirements

- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred; hospitality background is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, to ensure clear interactions with guests and team members
- Ability to operate POS systems such as Micros POS accurately and efficiently
- Knowledge of hospitality standards, including guest services and food safety protocols
- Experience with hotel or restaurant operations is advantageous but not required
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed in a fast-paced setting
