The Server / Supervisor is responsible for providing excellent customer service while helping oversee the daily operation of the restaurant. This role combines regular serving duties with shift supervision, staff coordination, customer service, and opening and closing responsibilities.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Process cash, debit, and credit card payments accurately.
- Supervise servers and other front-of-house staff during assigned shifts.
- Assign tables, sections, side duties, and opening/closing tasks.
- Support and train new employees.
- Ensure staff follow restaurant policies, service standards, and procedures.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared and served correctly and on time.
- Handle customer concerns and complaints professionally.
- Assist with reservations, seating, and managing customer flow during busy periods.
- Monitor cleanliness of the dining room, service stations, washrooms, and other customer areas.
- Ensure tables and service areas are properly set and stocked.
- Complete opening and closing procedures.




- Handle cash-outs and assist with end-of-day reconciliation.
- Monitor supplies and inform management when stock is low.
- Ensure food safety, sanitation, workplace safety, and responsible alcohol-service requirements are followed.
- Help maintain a positive and respectful work workplace.
- Report employee, customer, maintenance, or operational concerns to management.
- Perform other restaurant duties as required.

Qualifications
- Previous serving experience required or preferred.
- Supervisory or team-lead experience is an asset.
- Excellent customer-service and communication skills.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Ability to handle cash and operate a POS system.
- Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

The Server / Supervisor is expected to lead by example, support the restaurant team, provide excellent guest service, and help ensure each shift operates smoothly and efficiently. Pay: $16.75-$19.00 per hour
