Duties

- Greet guests warmly and assist with menu selections to enhance their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using Micros POS (Point of Sale) systems and process transactions efficiently with cash handling expertise
- Prepare simple food items according to established standards, ensuring quality and presentation
- Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities while providing excellent customer service
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area and kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations




- Manage time effectively during busy hours to serve guests promptly and keep service flowing smoothly
- Handle customer inquiries or complaints professionally, resolving issues to ensure satisfaction

Requirements

- Previous food service experience or restaurant background preferred; familiarity with serving and cashiering roles is a plus
- Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong food handling skills and understanding of sanitation practices within the food industry
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and order calculations
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Capable of multitasking in a rapid-paced environment while managing time effectively
- Kitchen experience or food preparation skills are advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
