Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional guest service, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all patrons. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with food safety standards are preferred, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn. The position offers opportunities for growth within the hospitality industry and requires strong communication, time management, and multitasking skills.

Duties

- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation quality
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support the team
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods




- Ensure guest needs are met promptly, addressing any concerns or special requests

Qualifications

- Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is preferred but not required; a background in food industry or hospitality is advantageous
- Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities in a rapid-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and billing accurately
- Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary
