Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient waitress to join our energetic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. This role requires a strong understanding of food safety, excellent time management, and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.

Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS. The bartender will play a key role in ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience and return for future visits.

Duties

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences
- Take orders from customers, ensuring accuracy and timely service
- Handle cash transactions, process payments using POS systems like Micros POS, and provide correct change
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
- Ensure compliance with food safety and food handling regulations at all times
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and adherence to alcohol service policies
- Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with inventory management




- Engage with guests in a friendly manner to enhance their overall experience
- Assist in serving food when necessary, supporting the overall restaurant operations

Skills

- Proven experience in food service or hospitality environments, especially as a bartender or server
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS and cashiering procedures
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and change calculation
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Good communication skills and a personable demeanor that fosters positive guest interactions
- Knowledge of the food industry trends and beverage preparation techniques is a plus
