About the role Postman is seeking an experienced technical professional to support our growing enterprise client base. You will work alongside our sales organization to promote API-first development and guide customers through the effective use of our platform.
Key facts Location: Calgary, Alberta, Canada Engagement: Full time What you'll do Drive enterprise sales by supporting strategic and enterprise-level customers. Perform discovery, technical demonstrations, and proof-of-value workshops. Address technical inquiries and objections by providing custom solutions or workarounds.
Analyze customer workflows to implement API-first development standards. Act as a technical bridge between sales and internal product or engineering teams. Maintain sandbox environments and establish best practices for product usage.
Create proof-of-concept integrations and custom tooling for prospective clients. Provide customer advocacy and relay feedback to internal stakeholders. Monitor the competitive landscape and market trends.
Requirements ~8+ years of experience in enterprise sales or solutions engineering. ~4+ years of software development experience. ~4+ years of experience with APIs and data platforms.
~ Bachelor degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent professional experience. ~ Ability to travel up to 50% of the time. ~ Proficiency in JavaScript. ~ Deep understanding of API production and consumption across various domains. ~ Knowledge of modern development methodologies, DevOps, and the software development lifecycle. ~ Familiarity with enterprise SaaS sales processes and cloud security concerns. ~ Experience with sales methodologies such as MEDDIC, Challenger Sale, or Command of the Message. ~ Expertise with developer tools including IDEs, Git, CI/CD, microservices, containers, and cloud services. ~ Strong presentation and communication skills for audiences ranging from developers to executives.
