Job Summary

Speech Road Clinic is a growing community-based clinic providing speech, language, and voice services across the Greater Toronto Area. We are currently seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with excellent spoken English communication skills and experience in accent modification and communication training to join our team as an independent contractor.

This role is primarily focused on working with clients seeking support with:

- Accent modification / accent coaching
- Pronunciation and speech clarity
- Professional communication skills
- Communication confidence
- Voice and speech-related concerns

Many of our clients are professionals, students, and individuals seeking clearer and more confident English communication in social, academic, or workplace settings.

Position Details

- Independent Contractor
- Adaptable schedule
- Community-based and virtual services available
- Evening and weekend availability is considered an asset
- Clinicians located in Thornhill, North York, Richmond Hill, or Markham areas are preferred for potential in-person services

Responsibilities

- Conduct assessments and provide individualized therapy for adult clients




- Deliver accent modification and communication training sessions
- Support clients in improving speech clarity, pronunciation, and communication confidence
- Maintain professional clinical documentation
- Collaborate with clients to establish functional communication goals

Qualifications

- Registered with College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO)
- Excellent spoken English communication skills
- Clear and natural English speech production
- Experience in accent modification therapy
- Strong interpersonal and culturally sensitive communication skills
- Experience with adult populations is preferred

Schedule & Flexibility

- Flexible, client-based scheduling
- Caseload is determined by clinician availability and client demand
- No minimum hours required
- Clinicians may choose to accept cases that align with their schedule
