BC Mental Health and Substance Services (BCMHSUS), a program of the Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA) provides a diverse range of specialized, one of a kind mental health services for people with complex needs across the province.
Within BCMHSUS is the Provincial Assessment Center which focuses on multidisciplinary mental health services for people with a intellectual disability, and a concurrent mental health concern or behavior issue.
The center supports people who are 14 years old or older. It provides interdisciplinary, intensive assessments to support ongoing care planning. The 10-bed facility is located in Coquitlam, BC.
The program requires a SLP to deliver services to individuals in PAC’s care.
Services are needed on an as referral basis and hours are versatile.
