This role sets technical direction for a product area, drives cross-team alignment, and raises the bar for Android engineering quality across the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn end-to-end design and implementation of complex Android infotainment features and services, from requirements through deployment and maintenance.Define and evolve application and system architectures (e.g.,



modularization, data contracts, error handling, state management) across multiple apps and services.Lead technical investigations and resolution of complex issues involving Android framework, vehicle services, vendor stacks, and hardware constraints.Partner with Product, UX, Systems, and Platform teams to translate PRDs and system requirements into robust Android designs.Guide the adoption of best practices for performance, stability, observability, and testability in an in-vehicle workplace.Mentor and coach other engineers, providing guidance on design reviews, code quality, and debugging strategies.Influence platform and toolchain decisions (Android version upgrades, AGP/JDK/Kotlin moves, CI/CD, quality gates) and drive their rollout.Collaborate with Tier-1/SOC vendors and internal platform teams on Android bring-up, integration, and certification topics.Core Technical Requirements:8–10+ ye
