Job Overview

We are seeking skilled and dedicated structural steel candidate to join our construction team. This role involves working on various building projects, specializing in the instalation and reinforcement of structural steel and iron components, The ideal candidate will have a strong back ground in construction and metalwork with the ability to interpret technical drawings and work safely in a dynamic fast paced enviroment, Prior experience with blue print reading and concrete forming. This position offers an prospect to contribute to large scale infrastructure projects while developing advance skills in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

- Erect, assemble, and install structural steel frameworks according to detailed blueprints and schematics
- Operate heavy machinery such as cranes, forklifts, and hoists safely and efficiently during installation processes
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans to ensure precise assembly
- Use hand tools and power tools for cutting, caulking, and fastening steel components
- Coordinate with team members to lift heavy steel sections safely and perform heavy lifting tasks with proper techniques
- Assist with rebar and iron components in the installation, concrete forming, masonry work, flooring installation, and restoration projects as needed
- Conduct inspections of completed structures for quality assurance and compliance with safety standards




- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely progress while maintaining high safety standard
- maintain a clean work environment and adhere to all safety regulations during operations.

Experience

- Proven construction experience with a focus on structural steel erection or related trades such as carpentry or masonry
- Mechanical knowledge including the operation of heavy equipment and understanding of schematics and blueprints
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, concrete finishing, caulking, and working
- Familiarity with rebar installation, concrete forming, flooring installation, restoration work, and renovation projects
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail in fast-paced environments
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to construction sites involving steel erection activities
- Physical ability for heavy lifting and working at heights
- Excellent team working skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions
