Female Support Worker Position

Seeking a female support worker to spend time with a young woman with neurodiversity who is active, insightful, and has a good sense of humour.

Qualities of Candidate:

Be understanding, kind, non-judgmental, sensitive to emotions, trustworthy.

Have a good sense of humour and play, and enjoy physical activity, the outdoors, dogs

Assist the individual to access and participate in her community

Willing and able to work as part of a team, valuable communication skills.

Willing to learn how to support someone with emotional and sensory sensitivities, self motivated, able to assist in planning positive leisure and recreation activities

Requirements A clean driver’s abstract and vehicle in order to provide transportation A police record check and vulnerable sector search

Hours and Compensation

Willing to commit reliably to one or two afternoon shifts per week, roughy 1 to 5pm
