Your responsibilities will include preparing food items, operating POS systems, handling transactions accurately, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and sanitation. Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process customer orders efficiently and accurately
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Provide friendly and attentive customer service to ensure a memorable dining experience
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, kitchen areas, and dining spaces in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist with food handling procedures, ensuring proper storage and hygiene practices
- Support upselling efforts by recommending menu items and promotions to enhance sales opportunities
Experience
- Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen operations is advantageous
- Basic math skills for cash handling, order totaling, and inventory management
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in a restaurant environment
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy setting
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities while maintaining attention to detail
