- The Systems Analyst will analyze, design, and test software solutions that support business objectives. The role requires solid problem-solving skills, the ability to communicate ideas clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders, and a willingness to learn new technologies and apply them effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties Include
- Liaise with business stakeholders and technology teams to understand business objectives and design solutions that meet analytics, operational, and management reporting needs while ensuring alignment with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Elicit, analyze, and document requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, business process analysis, business scenarios, and user stories.
- Analyze and conceptualize solution designs in collaboration with Systems Architects, Software Developers, and other delivery partners to achieve business and client stakeholder objectives through effective use of technology.
- Analyze source and target system data requirements and define data mappings aligned with enterprise data platform design standards.
- Gather and document integration requirements, business process flows, database requirements, process mappings, and API endpoint mappings.
- Write PL/SQL queries to support data validation, troubleshooting, and test data setup.
- Provide production support for back-office systems, including issue analysis, root-cause investigation, and coordination with technical teams for timely resolution.
- Identify outlying data patterns, data quality gaps, and data cleansing issues, and support resolution activities.
- Document high-level designs, system interactions, integration touchpoints, and end-to-end data flows.
- Ensure solution quality by preparing test plans, validating test results, and confirming that delivered functionality meets business requirements.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Management Information Systems, Commerce, Business Analysis, Computer Science,
or a related discipline; CMA or MBA would be an asset.
- Good years of experience applying business analysis, systems analysis, and technology delivery practices across a broad range of business functions.
- Strong understanding of information systems methodologies, delivery processes, best practices, and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Proven experience in systems analysis, requirements management, solution design support, data analysis, and end-to-end testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured and detail-oriented approach to identifying issues and recommending solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with business stakeholders, technical teams, and cross-functional partners.
- Effective planning and organizational skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and perform well under pressure.
- Experience in financial services and wealth management & asset management industries is preferred.
- Experience with SQL & databases would be asset.
Salary Range - CA$ 100,000 - CA$ 120,000 Per Year TCS does not use artificial intelligence tools for candidate screening or evaluation. This post is for a current vacancy. The hiring process includes an initial screening, followed by a technical evaluation and managerial discussion.
