TON RÔLE

- Assurer le suivi des comptes clients, des factures en souffrance et des paiements.
- Communiquer avec les clients, envoyer les états de compte et effectuer les suivis de collection.
- Appliquer les paiements, effectuer les conciliations de comptes clients et assurer le suivi des écarts.
- Préparer et analyser les rapports d’âge des comptes (aging) et identifier les situations nécessitant une intervention.
- Collaborer avec les équipes internes afin de résoudre les enjeux liés à la facturation, aux crédits et aux comptes clients.
- Effectuer diverses opérations comptables courantes, incluant les écritures de journal et les conciliations de comptes.
- Participer aux processus de fin de mois et de fin d’année ainsi qu’à la préparation de rapports financiers.
- Assurer l’exactitude des données et la bonne tenue des dossiers comptables.
- Identifier les écarts et contribuer à leur résolution ainsi qu’à l’amélioration des processus.
- Développer progressivement son autonomie dans les différentes responsabilités comptables.
- Effectuer toute autre tâche connexe liée au poste.

POUR RÉUSSIR DANS CE POSTE

- Formation en comptabilité ou formation pertinente en cours ou complétée.
- Bonne compréhension des notions comptables de base.
- Intérêt marqué pour les comptes clients, la collection et la comptabilité.
- Grande rigueur et souci du détail.
- Bonne capacité d’organisation et de suivi.
- Aisance à communiquer avec les clients, notamment pour effectuer des suivis de paiement.
- Capacité à analyser l’information et à identifier les écarts.
- Autonomie, sens des priorités et esprit collaboratif.
- Approche professionnelle,

- À l’aise avec la technologie et motivé.e à apprendre de nouveaux systèmes.
- Bonne maîtrise d’Excel.
- Français et anglais, à l’oral et à l’écrit.

Aucune longue expérience en comptabilité n’est requise. Nous recherchons avant tout une personne ayant une bonne base en comptabilité, une attitude professionnelle et l’envie d’apprendre. La formation et l’encadrement seront offerts afin de permettre à la personne choisie de progresser dans le rôle.

FORMATION ET EXPÉRIENCE

- DEP, DEC en comptabilité ou formation équivalente.
- Profil junior ou début de carrière en comptabilité.
- Une première expérience en comptes clients, collection, administration ou comptabilité est un atout.
- Expérience avec un logiciel comptable ou un ERP, un atout.
- Bonne maîtrise d’Excel.
- Expérience dans un environnement manufacturier ou en croissance, un atout.

YOUR ROLE

- Follow up on customer accounts, outstanding invoices, and payments.
- Communicate with customers, send statements, and perform collection follow-ups.
- Apply payments, reconcile customer accounts, and follow up on discrepancies.
- Prepare and analyze accounts receivable aging reports and identify issues requiring attention.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing, credit, and accounts receivable issues.
- Perform various day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Support month-end and year-end processes as well as financial reporting.
- Ensure accounting data accuracy and proper maintenance of accounting records.
- Identify discrepancies and contribute to their resolution and process improvements.
- Gradually develop autonomy across various accounting responsibilities.
- Perform other related duties as required.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE

- Accounting education or relevant accounting training, completed or in progress.
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Strong interest in accounts receivable, collections, and accounting.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
- Comfortable communicating with customers regarding payment follow-ups.
- Ability to analyze information and identify discrepancies.
- Strong sense of priorities and a collaborative mindset.

- Ability to communicate in both French and English, verbally and in writing.

Extensive accounting experience is not required. We are looking for someone with a solid accounting foundation, a professional attitude, and a strong willingness to learn. Training and support will be provided to help the successful candidate grow into the role. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

- DEP, DEC in Accounting, or equivalent training.
- Junior or early-career accounting profile.
- Previous experience in accounts receivable, collections, administration, or accounting is an asset.
- Experience with accounting software or an ERP system is an asset.
- Good Excel skills.
- Manufacturing or growing environment experience is an asset.
