Required Skills & Experience
- Education in an Engineering field (Mechanical, Electrical)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with hand tools.
- Understanding of Fiber Optic handling procedures.

- Working experience handling Fiber Optics.
- Capable of using proper procedures to do installation and routing of fiber optic cables
The Test Station Engineering & Lab Management team is seeking motivated and hands-on candidate to support the assembly of Test Stations. Successful candidates will contribute to test station assembly, prototype validation, product troubleshooting, laboratory operations, and mechanical integration activities supporting advanced optical transport platforms. The assembled test stations packaged and shipped to Contract Manufactures all over the world to test the client's product.
Key Responsibilities
Test Station Assembly and Support
- Build, wire, configure,
and maintain electrical and optical test stations.
- Read and interpret layout drawings, wiring diagrams, fiber routing documentation, and assembly instructions.
- Support inventory management, equipment tracking, and material planning activities.
- Identify and escalate equipment shortages or operational issues.
Troubleshooting & Repair
- Conduct detailed inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and rework of electronic and electromechanical assemblies.
- Remove and reinstall electronic components as required.
- Verify repair quality through visual inspections and compliance checks against company and industry standards.
- Provide technical feedback to engineers to improve manufacturing and assembly processes.
Documentation & Process Support
- Create and update work instructions, setup guides, and system diagrams.
- Support scheduling, planning, and coordination activities for test station deployments and prototype builds.
- Communicate progress updates and technical findings to engineering teams.
Compensation: $30/hr to $40/hr
