We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from job sites, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the dump truck. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations, heavy equipment operation, and a commitment to maintaining safety standards on the road.
Duties
- Operate a triaxle truck to transport materials, to and from job locations.
- Preform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in secure operating condition.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving in various weather conditions.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site managers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Maintain accurate logs of hours worked, loads transported, and any incidents or issues encountered during transport.
- Perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance on the dump truck to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain cleanliness of the truck.
Experience
- Proven experience as a commercial driver with a valid DZ/AZ (Commercial Driver's License).
- Must have a clean CVOR &Drivers; Abstract
- Minimum 3 years of experience operating a Triaxle.
- Experience operating heavy equipment is preferred.
- Familiarity with freight handling procedures and safety protocols.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and during non-standard hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
