Good Day Building Supply is a busy building materials retailer looking for a hands-on Warehouse Associate to keep our yard and warehouse running smoothly. Full-time and part-time positions available.
What you'll do:
- Load customer orders — heavy lifting daily (lumber, flooring, plumbing, fasteners; 50+ lbs regularly)
- Stock and restock shelves, keep aisles organized and pick-ready
- Maintain a clean, safe warehouse
- Receive and put away incoming inventory
- Take product photos and post listings to Facebook Marketplace
- Communicate with Mandarin-speaking suppliers and customers
- Occasional errands and local pickups (gas compensated)
What we're looking for:
- Fluent in Mandarin and English (needed for supplier and customer communication)
- Available to work weekends
- Own smartphone for product photos and Marketplace listings
- Own vehicle an asset — occasional errands, mileage/gas reimbursed (not required)
- Physically solid and comfortable with repetitive heavy lifting
- Organized and detail-oriented — you notice when stock is low or misplaced
- Reliable and self-directed
- Forklift experience an asset (not required)
Details:
- Full-time / Part-time, 30 - 40 hr per week, willing to work on weekends
- In-person, Scarborough, ON
- Part-time: $20/hr
- Full-time: $22/hr to start, $24 after a 3-month review
