Salary Offer: $17.60 per hour

Our busy warehouse is looking for a Casual On-Call Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a hardworking individual with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment where you will be responsible for a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the warehouse.

Summary of Duties:

- Load and unload products from delivery trucks and pallets.
- Operate heavy equipment including forklifts and clamp trucks as needed.
- Assist in shipping and receiving operations, ensuring all items are accounted for.
- Utilize cranes for moving heavy items within the warehouse.
- Perform quality checks on packaged products to ensure they meet company standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and efficiency.
- Engage in heavy lifting tasks as required, ensuring proper lifting techniques are utilized.

● Accurately and efficiently pick and pack products according to established standards

● Receive and make labels and boxes based on priority

● Print and organize shipping labels

● Create and printing bills of lading, manifests, and related inbound and outbound documentation.

● Determine and build packaging based on product size; Pack orders to the customer’s requirement or from provided specifications





● Work with the Warehouse management team to assess & prioritize daily workloads

● Ensure tasks are picked and confirmed within agreed time frames, reporting daily exceptions to the Warehouse Management team

● Committed to delivering quality on time and in full to achieve a high level of customer experience

● Self-identifies mistakes, identify problems, and recommends solutions

● Ability to multi-skill across a variety of warehouse tasks, including some technology.

● Ensuring the warehouse is kept in a clean and tidy condition.

● Performs other related duties as assigned and ensures all tasks are completed accurately

● Move and lift 30-50 pounds of product as needed

Qualifications:

● High school diploma/GED or equivalent

● Previous distribution or warehouse experience is an asset

● Must be able to work the scheduled, assigned times and required overtime for the position

● Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift

● Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves from various heights, weighing between 10 - 35 pounds, depending on the location, throughout the shift

● Ability to perform tasks under pressure and within a deadline-driven workplace

● Ability to handle detail-oriented work to ensure proper items and quantities are picked to arrive at customers in good condition

● General fluency in English required, verbal and written
