Join Durham Community Health Centre as a Youth Mental Health Therapist. This part-time role emphasizes youth-focused therapy, substance use intervention, and team-oriented care delivery across Durham Region. As a Mental Health Clinician, you will work within an interprofessional Youth Wellness Hub team.
This role requires providing evidence-based psychotherapy and mental health support to youth aged 12 to 25, adapting services for virtual and in-person delivery. Your contributions will foster integrated care and positive psychosocial outcomes. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide evidence-based counselling for youth mental health
- Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments
- Implement therapeutic interventions like CBT and DBT
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for care coordination
- Develop and evaluate youth-focused programs and practices Requirements:
- Master of Social Work or equivalent clinical degree
- Minimum two years' experience in youth therapy
- Knowledge of substance use and mental health challenges
- Registered with OCSWSSW or CRPO in good standing
