Make a difference in the community as a Youth Support Worker with Camino Wellbeing + Mental Health. This role focuses on fostering youth success through individual support and program development in a team-oriented environment. Join Camino's Youth Development Team as a Student Support Worker on a one-year contract.
You will guide youth facing barriers by providing mentoring, coaching, and crisis response. Building meaningful connections with families, schools, and community organizations is key to supporting academic and emotional growth for approximately 55 to 65 students. Key Responsibilities:
- Build trusting relationships with students and families
- Provide mentoring, coaching, and advocacy support
- Coordinate youth programming and facilitate workshops
- Collaborate with schools and community partners
- Document case notes and monitor student progress Requirements:
- College diploma or university degree in relevant field
- Minimum 2 years of experience with youth
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience in program facilitation and group activities
- Valid G driver's license and access to a vehicle Utilize your skills to support youth empowerment and community wellness at Camino Wellbeing.
