A degree from a recognized college or university is necessary. A Bachelor of Education degree is an asset,



but it is not mandatory.Responsibilities
The Teacher fosters a high trust learning environment, develops the values and math skills of students and builds robust relationships with parents.The Teacher will be responsible for the following:a) Effectively managing the classroom to maintain a safe, orderly learning environmentb) Adhering to the Spirit of Math teaching methodology and administrative systemc) Delivering lessons to studentsd) Grading students assignments, tests and examse) Building and maintaining relationships with parentsf) Addressing issues with students’ performance and behaviourg) Drafting report cards three times per yearh) Managing assistant teachers as neededi) Maintaining an up-to-date and accurate records of grades and attendancej) Performing peer evaluations periodicallyk) Attending professional development sessions several times per year
