Central Prairie Cartage is an up and coming new freight carrier coming to Red Deer. Specializing in LTL Central Prairie Cartage is looking for experienced Class 1 Pick-up & Delivery Drivers.

If you are looking for a change and are eager to grow with our new and evolving company Central Prairie Cartage is for you.

As a Class 1 City Pick-Up & Delivery Driver you load and unload your truck while completing pick-ups and deliveries around the Red Deer area. Duties will include;

- Operating a truck and trailer combination including 48 and 53 foot trailers
- May operate a power tailgate
- Operating a forklift on a cross dock
- Using a pallet jack and manually lifting to load and unload your body job
- Completing associated paperwork
- General shop duties such as cleaning,



sweeping, and organizing

We are looking for someone who has:

- Valid Class 1 license,
- 2-5 years Class 1 driving experience
- Knowledge of rules and regulations regarding safe operation of commercial vehicles, hours of service, and handling of dangerous goods
- Experience operating a pallet jack
- Experience operating a forklift
- Ability to chain up as required
- Solid command of the English language
- And a positive attitude
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs manually
- Availability to work overtime as needed
