Position Summary At TTCPP, we’re committed to delivering strong long-term pension outcomes for our members through thoughtful stewardship, disciplined investment management, and a culture built on collaboration and integrity. The Investment Analyst/Associate will be responsible for supporting the Public Markets team in the sourcing, due diligence, and monitoring of public market investments across strategies such as developed market equities, emerging market equities, fixed income and absolute return strategies (hedge funds). This individual will contribute to investment decision-making, portfolio construction, and reporting, while collaborating with internal stakeholders and external fund managers. What will I do? As the Investment Analyst/Associate, Public Markets, you will: Collaborate with team members to monitor existing investments, including joining update calls, preparing portfolio review materials, and tracking market developments. Maintain a structured peer group monitoring process to deepen understanding of the Equity and Fixed Income manager universe and identify top-quality managers and opportunities.



Support investment manager due diligence across quantitative and qualitative dimensions, evaluating investment processes, team capabilities, and portfolio fit. Conduct research and develop views on investment strategies, performance drivers, and industry trends. Prepare investment memos and recommendations for new and existing opportunities. Assist with quarterly portfolio reviews, including analysis and reporting. Enhance monitoring of existing investments through portfolio performance attribution Contribute to research projects aimed at improving portfolio construction and risk management practices. Take on special projects and other duties as assigned; demonstrate flexibilityin a dynamic environment. What will help me be successful? Skills & Qualifications Undergraduate degree in a finance-related discipline (e.G., Business, Economics, Mathematical Finance, Financial Engineering); Master’s degree considered an asset. Completion of or progress towards CFA or CAIA, or an equivalent related designation, is a solid asset. Associate – 3+ years of experience in asset management, external manager research, alternative investments, pension plans, or a related field. Analyst – 1 to 3 years of experience in asset management, external manager research, alternative investments, or a related field. Strong understanding of performance measurement, reporting methodologies, and risk characteristics. Robust organizational skills; self-motivated and eager to develop investment and research expertise. Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to build financial models and perform complex data analysis. Programming experience (Python, VBA) is an asset. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); familiarity with eVestment and Bloomberg preferred. Availability and readiness to travel domestically and internationally on occasion.
