Position Summary The Manager, People & Culture, leads and supports core HR functions across the business, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, daily HR operations, and managing the receptionist. Reporting to the President and Executive Vice President, this role partners closely with managers to provide clear guidance on people matters, ensure consistent and compliant practices, and support effective decision‑making. The focus is on keeping processes simple, strengthening the employee experience, and helping build a high‑performing, accountable workplace. Responsibilities Recruitment & Hiring Manage full‑cycle recruitment; post jobs, screencandidates, and coordinate interviews. Support managers in selecting the right candidates. Prepare and issue offer letters. Ensure a smooth onboarding experience. Employee Relations Act as the first point of contact for employee questions. Support managers with employee issues and conflict resolution. Assist with investigations and documentation. Maintain a fair and consistent approach across the business. Performance Management Support performance review cycles (e.G., HiBob). Help managers set goals and track performance. Assist with performance improvement plans. Ensure documentation is accurate and complete. Employee Engagement & Culture Plan and lead employee engagement surveys (e.G., Great Place to Work®, Bob). Analyze results, identify key themes, and provide clear actionable insights. Present findings to leadership with defined action plans and accountability. Partner with managers to build, implement, and track engagement action plans. Support and evolve recognition programs aligned with company values. Oversee employee committees (e.G., social,



culture, wellness) to drive engagement initiatives. Coordinate social events and culture‑building activities across the organization. Monitor engagement trends and recommend improvements to strengthen culture and retention. HR Operations & Compliance Maintain employee records and HR systems. Ensure compliance with BC and Alberta employment standards. Support policy updates and implementation. Manage onboarding and offboarding processes. Compensation & Advantages Support benefits administration (RBC). Assist employees with benefit questions. Track salary changes and updates. Support payroll coordination with Finance. Learning & Development Coordinate and deliver training programs, including use of OpenSesame and other learning tools. Track training completion, participation, and overall effectiveness. Partner with leaders to identify skill gaps and align training with business needs. Support and advance manager and leadership development initiatives. Guide managers in identifying team training needs and building development plans. HR Systems & Reporting Manage HRIS (HiBob). Generate reports on headcount, turnover, hiring, and engagement. Maintain accurate employee data. Qualifications 5+ years of HR experience. CPHR designation (or working toward it) preferred. Knowledge of BC and Alberta employment standards. Experience with HR systems (HiBob or similar). Experience running engagement surveys. Job Benefits Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000. Referral bonus program.
