OverviewAvanciersis a premier IT Staffing/Consulting organization and we are currently recruiting for a contract role for one of our premier client in Canada forSecurity Engineer.This is a Remote role and client is actively hiring for this position.Role DetailsLocation: RemoteEmployment Type: ContractDuration: 6 Months +Rate: $60/hr - $80/hr (depending on experience)Security RequirementValid Secret-level security clearance is mandatory.Role RequirementsBachelor’s degree or College Diploma in a relevant field.Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a software development environment with demonstrated expertise in:Designing, implementing, and maintaining Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.Proven experience navigating the Government of Canada Security Assessment and Authorization (SA&A) process for at least two (2) cloud-based applications developed within the past five (5) years.At least two (2) years of experience within the past five (5) years implementing automated security scanning and security controls within CI/CD pipelines.Hands-on experience applying modern application security principles to custom software solutions released within the past three (3)
