is responsible for building organizational capability in managing risk on a more integrated and comprehensive basis for the organization and for promoting a solid risk culture within TD. The team is accountable for the development and implementation of an enterprise risk management strategy, governance, policies and practices, reporting and operating frameworks, and operations associated with the Risk Management function.TD applies the "Three Lines of Defence" model to risk management as defined in the Enterprise Risk Framework. As part of the second line of defence, the ERM team assures the appropriate design, implementation, and/or execution of (applicable components of) the TD risk management framework.
