In the absence of the Supervisor, Housekeeping Workers may receive instruction from the General Manager or their designate.This role pays an hourly rate of $21.53 (per CBA).Benefits as per the union agreement.This position will remain open until April 10, 2026.ResponsibilitiesPerform skilled and semi-skilled tasks in the housekeeping, cleaning and maintenance of the facility and assetsWork from general instructions and specifications, with minimal supervisionAssist in ensuring venues cleanliness and day to day janitorial needs are met and maintainedOperate a variety of hand operated equipment used in the cleaning and maintenance of the facility such as vacuum cleaners, polishers, shampooers and other cleaning and maintenance equipment as requiredPerform housekeeping,



cleaning and maintenance of facility spaces and fixtures such as floors, walls, windows, doors, offices, meeting rooms, corridors, lobbies, elevators, washrooms, sinks, toilets, urinals, tables, chairs, staging, and other spaces, articles and fixturesEstablish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work – staff, contractors and facility usersWork effectively in a service oriented workplace subject to frequently changing prioritiesBe available for work on a need basis which could include early mornings, days, evenings, overnight, weekends, holidays, extended (long) work days and extended numbers of daysPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsExperience in working at a multi use facilityHigh school diploma or equivalent GEDKnowledge of customer service practicesStrengthened by our Differences.
