We are currently recruiting a competent, compassionate Personal Support Worker (PSW) to join our clinical teamCasual Position AvailableQUALIFICATIONS:Three (3) years of recent hospice palliative care experienceUnderstanding of therapeutic relationships and how to maintain professional boundariesAbility to work collaboratively in a team workplace and take direction from othersKeen observation skills, sound judgement and ability to problem-solveAbility to communicate observations/concerns with diplomacy, sensitivity and professionalismAttention to detail, strong organizational skills and effective time management skillsDemonstrates compassion and caring while providing the highest quality of careExcellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skillsExperience in a hospice residence or with a palliative community caseload preferredSPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:Personal Support Worker Certificate/Diploma from a recognized programEvidence of ongoing education in hospice palliative care, or willingness to completeCurrent BCLS certificationCurrent Standard First Aid certificationVulnerable Sector Check clearance (within 3 months,
