Reporting to the Shovel and Drill Supervisor, you will be tasked with diagnosing and addressing equipment issues. The role necessitates adherence to health and safety protocols while working closely with other skilled trades to boost fleet efficiency. You’ll engage in maintenance, create job plans, and accurately document repair records.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct inspections and troubleshoot mining equipment
• Collaborate with contractors and trades for success
• Execute preventative maintenance procedures
• Develop effective job plans and assess parts needs
• Maintain detailed maintenance and repair records
Requirements:
• Valid Interprovincial Red Seal Industrial Mechanic certification
• A valid driver’s license is required
• Previous mining industry experience is beneficial
• Comfortable working in all weather conditions
