Position Schedule:Full‑TimeThe Canadian Portfolio Management team is responsible for the design, implementation, marketing, and ongoing management of fully discretionary multi‑asset investment programs that deliver Edward Jones' best thinking to clients, in a fiduciary relationship, across multiple risk profiles and investment objectives. This team has overall responsibility for asset allocation implementation, portfolio construction, and manager/fund/security selection within firm discretionary multi‑asset model portfolios (including Edward Jones Models, SMAs and UMAs) and is ultimately responsible for the investment performance of these portfolios, which has direct client impact.The team will be comprised of licensed Portfolio Managers and an Associate Portfolio Manager (APM) who are experts in portfolio design, asset allocation, security selection and implementing tactical allocations within the portfolio. They will partner with other Advice & Guidance teams, including Investment Manager Research, the US Portfolio Management team and the Asset Allocation team, to bring Edward Jones' best thinking to life while effectively accounting for and addressing the unique nuances and structure of the Canadian market. The team will manage client assets in a manner consistent with Edward Jones' investment philosophy, adhering to its established investment process and regulatory considerations, and deliver performance that meets or exceeds expectation on behalf of clients.Key ResponsibilitiesExecute rigorous fundamental and quantitative research on individual companies and industry sectors to identify high‑conviction equity opportunities specifically for the Edward Jones Proprietary SMAs, including financial modelling and determining intrinsic value of companiesSupport the Canadian Portfolio Management Team (PMT)



in conducting in‑depth research and analysis to optimize asset allocation across different asset classes (including equities, fixed income, alternatives and cash) and preparing investment recommendations for Edward Jones Model Portfolios, SMAs and UMAsServe as an investment subject matter expert and deliver high quality recommendations to support the Canadian PMT areas of influence and support other areas of the organization in pursuit of firm objectives.Contribute to the investment decision making process by assisting in the asset allocation implementation, portfolio construction and manager/security selection process, including proposing recommendations for the MyCompass Model series.Work in partnership with Investment Strategy, Portfolio Solutions, Research, Investment Risk Group, Asset Allocation Team, and other internal stakeholders and committees in making better informed decisions consistent with the firm's long‑term strategyDeliver effective written and verbal communication on investment ideas and industry knowledge to financial advisors, clients, internal departments, and firm leaders (as needed). This includes the ability to create and deliver timely, insightful and technical presentations on Edward Jones' managed portfolios.Actively look for opportunities to improve and further develop knowledge around portfolio construction, risk, asset allocation, investment managers,



and marketsServe as a deep SME and deliver high quality insights and answers to financial advisors and internal departments by responding to information requestsResponsible for translating Canadian PM team insights and decisions into client and branch facing content on a recurring basis; including writingquarterly commentary, fact sheets, model sheets, security/manager changes and supporting rationale. Content is highly technical but communication must be easy to understand for the end user.Act with integrity, diligence, and due care in supporting the design, implementation, and ongoing oversight of Edward Jones' Managed Accounts by ensuring all investment recommendations meet our fiduciary standard, regulatory obligations and prioritize clients' best interests.Compensation Hiring Minimum: $115,900Hiring Maximum: $197,300Key RequirementsBachelor's Degree in related field6‑10 years of experienceCFA requiredLicensed Associate Portfolio Manager (with CIRO)MBA and CFP preferredKnowledge And Skills RequirementsExperience in fundamental equity analysis, including analysis of industry attractiveness and single stock valuation through creation and maintenance of financial models.
